RE: EPA

RE: EPAThe EPA has said, based on various studies, cutting smog from 80 to 75 parts per billion would prevent between 900 and 1,100 premature deaths a year. It would also mean 1,400 fewer non-fatal heart attacks and 5,600 fewer hospital or emergency room visits. A separate study suggests that tightening the standard to 70 parts per billion could avoid as many s 3,800 premature deaths nationwide. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So these people live. They continue to drive cars, push gas powered lawn mowers, they need eat, so more food is needed, they will be a bigger drain on Medicare, as other age related ailments will draw on that resource. Looks like the cure comes with a price. Yes, Think green folks, soylent Green. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chocolate chip cookies anyone?
