New platform can also detect cancer.

Did anyone catch this in the news release, this new platform can not only detect HIV, etc but also cancer and heart disease.

"Our new rapid test platform will have broad applications across a wide range of diagnostic fields, including the diagnosis of infectious diseases such as HIV, hepatitis, and influenza, as well as new health epidemics that will emerge in the future. The platform will also be able to aid in the diagnosis or monitoring of non-infectious conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular disease."
