This week

This weekI'm not a happy camper. I have an overbalanced position on CAX, mostly because I ignored some critical evidence of management incompetence long ago (their decision to go with a "cheap" provider of jack-up barge drilling services, and their failure to obtain a nitrogen generator to restart their producing well and keep their power plant on-line when it became obvious delays were happening) then stupidly believed they were reformed and would start to play straight. Now, we are about to feel the damage from an adverse market reaction to the credit uncertainty; Hong Kong and Australia are both down more than 3% as I type this. I've been patient, but I'm thinking that these clowns have put us into real jeopardy by repeatedly failing to meet objective targets. There seems to be a very relaxed attitude to performance objectives in the management suite. I've only got 150,000+ shares, but I'd be willing to pledge them to any realistic change of management that comes along. These boys are players, not operators. I understand that I'm shooting at my own feet, but it's time for results, not excuses from Candax. Let's purge the executive suite! M.
