The Cartel hates when people get physical - Why so you think that known Cartel entities like World Gold and Barclays sponsor gold/silver ETFs that have no metal, are not redeemable in metal and are only paper derriviatives of the underlying metal. They are opening four ETFs in India alone to try and siphon off metal demand into paper....
If more people bought physical, the gold price would shake the shackles imposed on it much sooner.
Historically, gold/silver stocks are supposed to go up three times the percentage of what the metal price goes up. This is a tried and true rule of thumb I have heard repeated over and over. This last 8 months, you would have made a lot more money holding the metal than the stocks !!!!
Only explanation...... outrageous manipulation.
In the end, only physical will be worth anything anyway...... but be careful .... the danger with physical is that someone can bang you over the head and take it away.
Remember - A good hiding place and spreading out your assets is better than a metal vault. A metal vault just tells the thief that you have been kind enough to gather all your valuables into one place for him to steal.
I have too much in gold/silver stocks, but I have heeded my own advice for a majority of my holdings already.
