Roche investment in TKM

Roche investment in TKMThis has nothing to do with ISA, but might be food for thought given some speculations on this board that Roche may want to game the stock price of a small biotech. That doesn't seem to have been the case for TKM although I'm sure our friend teevee will see this differently than me.

NR out this weekend for a Cdn biotech company (Tekmira). Looks like they have a merger with a private company Protiva which settles a licensing dispute between them. As part of the deal, Roche is investing 5 MM at 2.40 per share. The stock closed Friday at .87 so it looks like a pretty big premium.
