RE: No Reply from CQV
RE: No Reply from CQVRunar1910: I have heard nothing about Alberta. No one is saying anything as the road bans are on in Alberta, and drilling and associated services are either on Easter vacation with their kids, on a course or repairing/retrofitting for the upcoming drilling season.
IMO CIVC has stuck all their eggs in the 2K-39 basket case, and they are heading down to the target. According to the NR they were at a driller’s depth of 874 m and true vertical depth of 741 m on March 31, 2008. If they are drilling 6-8 meters/hour, and especially through shales they could have added another 672 m to the driller’s depth to a maximum of 1546 m by midnight tonight. I would think that they would have had to make a bit change around about yesterday, so need to subtract about 10% of that depth, and therefore could be at the 1400 m drillers depth with the increased rate of penetration with a better bit in the hole. The easier drilling will end soon as a whole lot of harder drilling may be approaching as they could be entering the first basement level, and then back to easier drilling for another 1000 m or as they reach intermediate casing point. After the intermediate the progress will slow down again, although there is a substantial increase again in well control and stability.
It would be nice to have a weekly update by Monday April 7, 2008, and possibly hear that the progress is smooth and steady. It could slowdown the swarming of 8 cent shares hitting the market, and allow for some honey to be added to our share price bank accounts.
