Javathehut10 - How far are you fromthe New Elk Mine near Trinidad, Co ? I think it is actuall in Westin.
I have a trucker friend that drove through there last week. He said there is nothing going on at the New Elk Mine. He said the actual mine is totally flooded and there was some guy their with a small pump trying to pump some out. If this mine ever comes to fruit, coal will not be in flavour anymore.
I was wondering if you could take a drive down there and give us a report :)
This would only leave Lossan.......and I can;t find anything that says this has even been talked about by the company with any officials or other companies to get it under production.
