RE: THE FINANCINGIt does make sense as to why would I pay .26 for a stock when it's trading at say .24. It could lie in the simple fact that there might only be say 100,000 shares available at that sp when what I want is 1,000,000 shares. If one watches the level 2 screen you notice that quite often the bid is jumped up several points from a previous sp to accommodate larger trades. I have done this myself, on a smaller scale, sometimes I have to go up several cents to fill my order or wait around for who knows how long, if ever, to fill my order. IMHO
