Quebec Shale Gas "Must Read"

Quebec Shale Gas "Must Read"

For those that have not yet grasped the shear size of this play, have a look at Forest Oil's April 1st ,2008 presentation that was given in New York. Link is below.
According to Forest, the Utica shale gas is concentrated between Quebec City and Montreal right along the river lowlands. You can view their map in their presentation. Interesting that this takes in a very large part of Junex's land holdings. Forest's existing property options in Quebec have room for hundreds of wells. They also compare their USA Barnet Shale play to the Quebec Utica shale. The properties of the 2 shales are almost identical. Forest is moving into production (from test) on the Barnet shale deposit. They say they are confident the Utica shale has the same potential. I recommend checking out the presentation and then decide for yourself. This is a giant in the making. Junex has the potential to become a major gas producer in the immediate future.
