RE: Poof! Competition gone.Mrsly, your scenario is very possible. However equally plausible is that BSX manipulated the SP down to get a fire sale. The mkt is ripe for these types of deals since investors are panicky over stocks relative the the economy's gloom near-future. The CRYO gang wasn't necessarily the most competent, so they wouldn't have got the most value out of the technology, plus they were well behind the competitor. With BSX now here, whos laughing? Aside from having a vested interest in CRYO, they could have cut their losses and walked away if the IP lawsuit had no merit and CRYO really was a dud! They instead could have bought CYT who is also hurting from general mkt conditions. But they didn't. That says something to me.

Just trying to find real answers.
