CALM DOWNWhile it is ,of course, very disappointing to see this action from Ecuador, those who bought into Aurelian must have understood that politics ,in any of the South American countries, can take a turn that results in such confiscatory actions.
However, the gold & silver are still in the ground,& Ecuador will continue to need successful mining companies to work the mine & extract the resources....without the actual gold & silver been mined, Ecuador does'nt get a dime.
Correa is, as has been stated before, a U.S. educated man, & up to now, his statements on economic developement have been quite balanced & pro-Western.Every politician has to cope with special interest groups, be they natives , or environmentalists....Canada is not immune given the absolute nonsense spouted by Dion,Layton & May re. the sham of global warming,
It will take months, maybe years for this situation in Ecuador to get resolved, in the meantime I am quite happy to buy morte Aurelian shares & tuck them away.....someday it will be mined, & i believe Aurelian will be bought out by a major at a price well into th double digits.

G.E.Mullan.
