Slurry pipelines are nothing new and are used in many climate conditions and currently in many iron ore operations even at greater distances then required for NML projects. It is the most cost effective way to get it to where it needs to go even factoring in the cost of the pipeline. If you read the reports on the website NML's Kemag project will have the lowest cost Pellet Cash Operating costs in North America at $22US$/tonne (Cash Cost Pellets Before Interest (FOB port) with all pipeline considerations, heating, etc factored in. The top 4 members of the management team have over 170 years experience with iron ore and this doesn't include the iron ore experience of the other board members. Many on this team used to work at IOC. I'm sure they know about the weather conditions around the area
