RE: Why?That halt was uncalled for.  That was the first time I have seen that a stock was halted because of big selloff.  It didn't do any investor any good for halting it like that on a Friday.  Screwed a lot of investors who could have sold it higher before the halt.  Management must not care about investors, and only care about making profit off investors.  The only reason management would halt the stock the stock is that they want to create excessive selling pressure, so that they could buy it low in the morning and sell it at high from a big relief rally.  Thats my only explanation.  They would probably reprice their options also incase they screw up with their trading I reckon.

The only NR that came out was that DMM wants to seek clarification about the new mining mandate.  But that is really immaterial after the fact.  They pulled a fast one on the TSX and their own shareholders to have halted the stock like that.
