RE: still no sign of unsafeharbor...The pump gang, the self righeous, the angels of death......wow. Yup, THEY forced you to buy a horrible stock! They all knew what was coming, and lured the simpletons into their web of deceit?
Never mind that it has been a top pick on BNN over a dozen times, it is a core holding for most of the largest and most respected investmenty houses in this country. Tell me, are they card holding members of your pump gang, the self righeous, the angels of death? You two suffer from bullboard myopia, looking for scapegoats when meanwhile ARU IS a holding in the PM fund of EVERY large bank in this country. But their rooms of analysts were all conspiring against you!
Don't be fooled, the bashers want BB readers to be myopic, that makes them that more easy to brainwash to bilk them of their shares. 13.7 million proven ounces are still there, right? Who else, in God's name, in ANY country, holds an untapped resource of this size? Nobody. Everyone knows this, including Correa. Will they want a bigger piece? Perhaps. But they will not impede the progress of this concession. Anyone who tells you other-wise is not versed on the history of Ecuador.
It's one thing to nationalize an oil field - the dollars have been spent and the oil practically pumps itself - the investment pays for itself in no time. Mining is a different feather -intensive and ongoing investment, high level of expertise required on an on-going basis to develop and keep a mine operating. Ecuador posesses none of these skills, nor do they have the capital. At this time, save for the companies in exclusive negotiation, there is basically no mining industry in Ecuador. Correa wants mining, he wants the thousands of hectares of dormant, elite-owned concessions developed.
Again, I can not condone how it was done, but we shall see things clarified this week, and then we can put the fear behind us and the bashers can go back to their caves.
