RE: Hi Dutch

RE: Hi DutchHi Dutch,

Thank you for your comments on my blog. It is rare to receive comments that discuss points made directly on the basis of merit, even though the members of the discussion may have opposing views. This is a far more mature method of discussing a company rather than just declaring the other a "basher", but otherwise not adding anything to the discussion, nor attacking directly the other persons points on the basis of merit.

I would like to add that finding diamondiferous kimberlites is much easier when you are looking in central regions of archean cratons as the geothermal gradient there is much cooler and as a result the kimberlite samples more mantle in the diamond stability field upon its ascent.

The 5% value is for all kimberlite worldwide, not just those on old cratons as the percentile would be much higher.

Note thate there are kimberlites in cratonic regions that are barren of diamonds, e.g. Certac, QC.

As for the other compnaies, I mentioned Stornoway in particular as a parcel from the Renard property recently received a valuation of about US$105/c (a very good valuation) and large stones (>10ct) have been found there.

As for the new lows, I cannot predict how the market will behave, but I can make comment as to whether the geology seems good or bad for a mine.

Regards,

Diopside
