RE: News Release![I am an Almaden shareholder, I just posted this on the AMM BullBoard. [RJ]]

Wow! Did you see our JV’s, CGH, drill results at Cerro la Paila?
-
Cerro la Paila , Canallo Blanco in Veracruz.
-
I just had the curiosity to look up ‘Cerro la Paila’ in my Langenscheidt Spanish-English Dictionary to find out that it means ‘Big Pan Hill’.
-
I always have to ponder rather or not a German dictionary’s translation of a European Spanish word is exactly how it is used in Mexico.
-
So I looked up the CITY of Veracruz and found out it is a shortening of its formal name La Villa Rica de la Vera Cruz ("The Rich Town of the True Cross").
-
Notice that likewise Los Angeles, California is also a shortening of its original name, "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Pueblouncula" ("The Town of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels on the River Porciúncula")
-
However that is only half of the story, the STATE of Veracruz is not named after the city of Veracruz but after a Mexican general who was born in Veracruz, Ignacio de la Llave
So the formal name of the state is ‘Veracruz de Ignario de la Llave’ - Veracruz for short.
-
Actually in this context, ‘Vera Cruz’ may actually be the shortened version of a historical person’s name. I am going to stop here at the tip of the iceberg before you guys start stoning me. (LOL)

So here is the latest news release from the operating JV partner of our Caballo Blanco (White Horse) project in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.
-
"Canadian Gold Hunter Intersects 94.5 Meters Grading 2.09 g/t Gold at Caballo Blanco Project, Mexico"
-
Holly crap! That is the length of a football field at four times the grade of Goldcorp’s multi billion dollar Penasquito mine in Mexico.
