RE: Hope is growing.

RE: Hope is growing.
Ecuador has a real problem with companies and individuals holding rights to concessions without keeping them up to date.  This means they fail to file fees or even do any work on the properties.  I think the government realize this needs to be cleaned up.  All of the Canadian companies involved in last weeks meeting are in good standing with the Government.  Not only are they up to date with their properties they also have invested heavily in Ecuador's social structure in the areas they work in.  We were all concerned with last week decision but in all fairness to clean the mess up, the government has to put everyone on an equal playing field.  I only hope they can convince the government to increase the three concession maximum that they are talking about imposing. They also need to be educated that modern mining practices can be environmentally sound.  I still think the process will take six months but I have faith it will all work out.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.
