One man is dead after a fatal crash north of Fort McMurray last night.
Around 9:30 yesterday evening, Fort McMurray RCMP went to a call at the Albian Sands Energy Muskeg River Mine.
When they arrived, they found emergency crews already on scene. It's believed a heavy hauler and a pickup truck collided, killing the driver of the pickup.
He was taken to the Fort McMurray Hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Occupational Health and Safety has been notified, and RCMP are still investigating.
The man's name isn't being released at this time.
