point of viewI find it interesting that in reading about the rich native american history of this area that this issue isn't specifically listed in Aquila's literature. The land immediately north of their field office, Sixty Islands was held off limits to exploration because of the buriakl mounds, village sites, etc. The land just North Of sixty islands, now listed on the plat book as being owned by the Mancheksi's also has significant archeological sites. A Goggle search for Mancheskis won't turn up anything but there are numerous articles, reference materials, etc all listed under the former owner "Backlund". I know that a site survey has been conducted of this area and that this issue will be addressed at some future point... The Michigan DNR is conducting a controlled burn at the Shakey Lakes savannah. This is also ajacent to Aquila property. This area has Federal and State listed endangered and threatened species.... Mud, lots of mud.... There's been a lot of snow and rain,,,,, The river isn't flooding but its high. Oh, thats within 75-feet of the Aquila Field office? Lots of stuff.... I never read about .... stocks doing well...
