Just curious here...

Just curious here...

but how do back a comment like this:

"Bottom has been reached in my opinion, stock didn't sell off as the bashers had hoped and we actually finished in the green, albeit barely. Tells me much when looking at the big picture.

A friend of mine whose a little more adept at geology summed up the news release as follows:

Let's say you bought a raffle ticket that had posted odds of winning listed at 1 in 250,000 (With the maximum number of tickets to be sold at 250,000).

So, it's now the draw date. Well, you just find out as they are setting up the drum that only 100 tickets got sold. You still haven't won the prize yet, but your odds just went to 1 in 100.

There you have the simplest analogy yet. We don't have the prize yet. But our odds have just increased exponentially.

That is "big picture thinking"

Get it?"

How did our odds get better? Your analogy is (very, extremely, incredibly) poor. With the lottery, you KNOW there is a jackpot, hence the increase in odds when less people play it... whereas with exploration, you could drill for years and find nothing because there is nothing. Was your friend drunk or something?
