Aircraft-Worth $528-billion (US)The Globe and Mail reports in a Canadian Press dispatch Thursday that Bombardier has boosted its market forecasts for business and regional jets over the next 10 and 20 years as it prepares to launch its new C Series airliner. The unbylined item says the Montreal aerospace manufacturer admitted short-term uncertainty over the economic outlook. It said Wednesday, however, that it expects 13,200 business aircraft will be delivered worldwide over the next decade, representing $300-billion (U.S.) of revenue. Additionally, 12,900 regional jet airliners are expected to be sold through 2027, worth $528-billion (U.S.). Bombardier did not specify what portion of each market it expects to realize. Bombardier shares rose seven cents Wednesday to $6.53 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
