RE: Resource EstimateI agree. I am not expecting more than 9 billion pounds total. Most of the drill holes were infill holes to help confirm the existing resource estimate and help scope the economic and feasibility study. If some of the outer drill holes still hit good copper, and it is still open at depth, then we can get excited again.
I think the recent downward pressure is a combination of the following:
(a) realistic expections of resource estimate - these people were going to sell on news anyways;
(b) increasing cost of project - IMO should be offset by price of copper; and
(c) where is financing going to come from? Joanne think Peruvian Pension Funds will step up.
Bottom line...this is still a world-class resource that will be in production one day...whether it is Candente or a major producer...long shareholders will do very well. Be patient.
