Economics of deep US oil shale

Economics of deep US oil shaleSeems to be no shortage of past articles decrying the difficulties and costs involved with the various methods for mining or insitu development of the US oil shale deposits found at 1000 ft below surface in Colorado.  Confirms GNZ's Pasquia Hills project's economics are much better than Shell's working with in Colorado :)

Unlike the US oil shale deposits, GNZ's Pasquia Hills oil shale is located in Saskatchewan, Canada, where and there's plenty of water and everything oil shale is high-grade & near surface.

From another perspective; even if GNZ decided to develop Pasquia Hills via an insitu process, again being located in Saskatchewan, where ground freezing technology is already in use to protect the ground waters from high grade U308 run-off in U308 mining, is another plus IMO.
