RE: Well now

RE: Well nowYou're right that the AGM is a whitewash exercise.  Last year, when some poignant questions were directed to Ivan and things started to get uncomfortable, Bob stepped in and cut it off stating that the questioning was not appropriate for an AGM ?!?

Clearly, Ivan's ability as a sales and marketing professional is dubious, but I am not even so sure about his technical credibility in light of the many technology failures that the company has suffered as well, ie. the steam meter, the laser two beam flare meter, and several other developments that have been announced and have never advanced past the field test phase.  Ivan comes from a research background and I don't think he has much experience developing products to commercialization.  He seems to be good at slapping together prototypes for the purpose of impressing investors that there is a lot of leading edge stuff going on, but nothing ever advances out of the lab.  I would suggest that the company needs a little less research and a lot more engineering, which is not nearly so much fun for a guy like Ivan.
