BNN Interview

BNN InterviewWell

I can certainly see why Mr. Bates seems to do little IR...not a great speaker. He certainly does not seem excited or enthusiastic.

Wants to open New Elk by end of year possibly starting at 500 thousand tonnes a year (using trucking for shipping)

The accellerate it to 2 million tonnes a year once the rail line is in. So it looks like it is in the 6 month range before they can start mining, add a couple of months to that maybe for unforseen issues or problems.

Chance to later increase that to 2-5 million tonnes a year in the future.

When asked about Lodgepole he did a poor job of answering and addressing the environmental.

What was most interesting was them stating Mitsui is the biggest shareholer between Mitsui's shares and warrants.

So we are looking at insiders owning 25-30% of the Company.  Which makes senses given the volumes we have trades.

Can they hire someone to talk for him? He certainly does not seem the least bit excited.  A good way to be when you are negotiating aquiring property, sucks for shareholders though.
