RE: troubles

RE: troublesderrickman: If what you say is close to the truth, the sequence of events in your posting is a simplified version and Thank you for sticking your neck on the line or should I say; Down the hole?.  IMO it would take a rigwise individual to think up what you have posted, and I am not here to cast doubt on your posting or lend support to a misguided panic. The extra time and expenses for specialty services to do a fishing job down to as far as 2865 meters will mean a lot of pipe tripping, and it may yet be fruitless as they may have to push whatever tool went down the well to bottom if they can't retrieve it, and then plug back with cement and whipstock around the fish stuck in the hole. If what derrickman is true, we may have to think of it this way and as Steve Millan mentioned to me a few years ago: If we didn't have bad luck, we would not have any luck at all while on PaP #1. Loosing something down the well bore is nothing new, and with the right tools and experience it can be overcome, although time consuming and expensive until the closing bell has rung.
