That article I'm assuming is the northern miner article? It mentions the order of when they announced applying for coal permits. However, I don't think WGF sent out a news release the day they did the application. If you read WGF's news release, it states they staked the land immediately following the discovery. Since WGF management are buddies with GXS management, and WGF is based out of saskatoon, there is a good chance that they did beat out most of the crowd.....if not all the crowd and are right behind GXS.
And to the comment someone made about NAG having the deepest pockets....7500 dollars and a million cheap shares isn't really having deep pockets. haha. That's a couple months wages for the average person, and firing up the old printing press. That's not even the average value of a house in Calgary......for all those acres. LOL. Might reflect the quality of the land....have to see. Good luck on it.
