EVERYTHING U NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PCQ
to answer questions about PP closing:
For a long time it was my experience that a stock would be held down until a pp was closed but this is not always the case.. a good example was ENG earlier this year.. they announced a non brokered pp (same as PCQ) and within the days the stock took off and by the time they announced it had closed the stock was double the pp price.. so I wouldnt rely on PCQ staying at this level until they announce the closing.. If the particpants have got their shares they will be quite happy to let it run..
while Im at it I will repost this.. as it may help any newcomers.. I would add that we now have EVEN MORE NRs to look forward too...
Petrolympic Ltd
PCQ began trading as a company in January of this year.
Prior to this the company was a private company under the name Petrolympia.
Mandel Eksteien owned 25% of it and Borscha Eksteien owned 25% and Andreas Jacob owned 21%.
When Petrolympic was formed the former owners of Petrolympia received 48 million shares of
which 4 million became free to trade immediately while an additional 4 million became free
trading at the close of deal. The remaining 40 million shares are held in escrow with 15%
becoming free trading every 6 months. These shares were all priced at .18.
There was a PP done in January of approx. 15 million shares at .18 with warrants at .25.
In February 4.7 million stock options were granted at .18.
At Sedi, Mandel Ekstein owns 11.1 million shares, Borscha Ekstein owns 11.1 million shares
and Andreas Jacob owns 9 million.
Insiders own over 30 million shares.
There are 70 million shares outstanding.
40 million are not tradeable.
All these shares are valued at .18.
There are next to no shares out there.
I have no doubt PCQ was formed because they knew what they had and made a move
before the area became noticed.
They most certainly were aware of Forest Oil's interest
in the region.
The company was set up by a very shrewd and business savvy team specifically to take
advantage of this opportunity.
They knew exactely what they were doing.
They covered all their bases.
They are executing a brilliantly thought out PLAN and it is unfolding perfectely.
Aks yourself some simple questions:
Why do they own 70% of the company?
Why did they put away 40 million shares in escrow?
What does it mean that these shares in escrow cannot be traded?
Will these actions that management have executed help the shareholders of the company?
Does it all make sense for Management and shareholders alike?
Thanks to the posters who have made some interesting comparisons re the Quebec lowlands
shale gas area plays.
Including PEA in these comparisons is somewhat missleading though because they do not have
any lowlands shale gas property.
PEA on the other hand have a VAST acreage in the Gaspe peninsular to the north east where
PCQ have a very favourably positioned property surrounded by PEA land.
The main interest in the Gaspe peninsular is OIL which could well turn out to be the focus
of another major discovery in the near future...
For now though it is the shale gas plays in the lowlands that are grabbing all the
attention and of course as we know PCQ now has a great deal more prime property in this
region to add to the substantial and well positioned property it already owns 100%.
Lets look at what we have to look forward to in the very near future:
1) NR: Seismic data for the original 100% owned shale gas property
2) NR: Drilling plans for June in the Gaspe
3) NR from Talisman/Forest: New reserve estimates coming..
Rumoured to be a huge increase on what is already a huge deposit and will inevitably get
much much bigger as more of the vast prospective area is drilled out
4) The Talisman/Forest roadshow hits on the road
5) Rumours of mergers.. JVs.. Buyouts abound and more than likely become reality
6) Big money coming in.. Make no mistake we are witnessing the start of a mania here
The Stock Market has been a very unfriendly and seriously brutal place during recent times
with the credit squeeze and the impending US/Europe resession looming.. The selling has
been brutal.. mark my words ther is a huge and I mean HUGE amount of cash waiting out there
that will start to find its way into these plays.. as fear gives way to greed there will be
a stampede as major buyers rush to get a piece of the action.
PCQ is the perfect vehicle to make the most of this rare opportunity
The company was set up precisely to take advantage of this unfolding situation
This has been the PLAN that Management anticipated all along..
