Judging from the Map

Judging from the MapJudging from the map that WGF put out, plus the info from the various companies' NR's, it's obvious that GXS, SMI/SWR, and WGF are the main plays in the area of the recent coal discovery.  It looks to me like GXS and SMI/SWR got the best land packages, of roughly equal size, while WGF got almost as much land as GXS and SMI/SWR put together, but it's off to the West and may not be as good.  I'm guessing that the purple strip of land straddling the Manitoba border is split roughly evenly between GXS and SMI/SWR; I'm guessing that GXS gets the northern half, probably from the 48th parallel up, while SMI/SWR gets the southern half, probably from the 47th parallel down.

I'm not a geologist, and I hope that those who are will be able to give us some idea as to where the most prospective ground is (where the greatest concentrations of coal are likely to be), but I'm guessing that it's in the area split between GXS and SMI/SWR.
