spoke with Don Meyers friday afternoonFirst of all I would like to explain my last call Wednesday with Don Houston. On Wednesday I was told the drill needed some repairs and would be running later that day, as you can probably tell that didn't happen. On friday afternoon Don Meyers gave me an update as of that day. The drill has not run for about 8 days because of some casing stuck in the hole. Apparently they have such a tool to remove this when problems like this occur, however after many attempts has failed. To fix the problem Cabo has inserted a piece of steel to deflect the drill over 6 inches and continue on from there. Don believes this will be a non issue after this weekend. Don also reminded me that the rock has changed before the drill was stopped and he predicts the Balmer is within 50m away from the current depth of approx 1200m. If this problem is resolved this weekend as he believes it will be, than a Balmer announced will come out this coming week. CYP management where very disappointed to not have a Balmer announcement at the AGM, but it just was not possible. He also mentioned to watch for GEA AGM next week for some rumors of news out of them that could impact our stock. Our day in the sun is coming soon, maybe sooner than some of the restless share holders think! Best of luck to all and I will be continually pressing for news and updates to pass onto all us longs on CYP.
If Goldcorp takes out Gold Eagle (before Barrick or Newmont get their hands on it) they will own all land around us including Premier Gold. CYP will be stuck in the middle with G already owning 4 million shares and a option to purchase 4 million more at $1.30. I think our pockets will someday be lined with gold! CYP management are well aware that they have the best piece of property around!
