RE: Neuman
RE: NeumanAs I recall quite clearly, MJ, you were at the head of the 'Next Voisey's Bay!' choir back at one time. That was on the basis of much fewer drill intercepts. I know, you need to know the tonnage ...
Yes, we all know it's not Voisey's Bay - that is much further to the north and east of McFaulds. It may be 1-2M tonnes or it may be 10M tonnes, those are about equally likely.
The share price is not going to be contingent on the inital E1 43-101, however. The notion that there is a linear relationship between proven resources and share price is spurious at best. Nobody invests in exploration stocks solely on the basis of proven resources and the market rarely prices them that way. The notion that you can predict a future share price contingent on the initial resource estimate of one of NOT's deposits is wholly without merit. It may be 5 bucks, but it may be 10 .. nobody knows. I'd rather buy here because what they have drilled at E1 to date is most definitely not the limit to what they have in store.
There's always a speculative element in an exploration stock. That's just the natue of the game. You know it and I know it, but you seem to be bent on suggesting otherwise. We're not speculating about whether or not overlooked moose pasture is going to maybe hit something, anything. We're speculating that this may be one of the most significant discoveries in Canada in decades. And this is a reasonably sound speculation. They have intercepted outstanding grades of mineralization over substantial lengths and continue to find addtional mineralization elsewhere.
Buying opportunity does not in anyway imply that one knows the tonnage and grade. It implies that I know that this company has already made a remarakable find that has huge potential, they have lots of serious players on board, they have a great management team that looks after the shareholders, and they could easily make additional discoveries that would send the share price rocketing upward.
Yes, I remember well when the market assigned a share price of 35 cents. I will be eternally grateful for that.
