Certainly, whether manipulated to that level (shorting?), the FNI share price is very cheap and appears significantly undervalued right now, which naturally makes them a potential take-over candidate for another company that wishes to acquire some good cheap assets (production + exploration potential).
The current market cap of around $53 million would represent chump change for a major like Xstrata, CVRD or even FNX Mining (coffee shop talk). Also some rumours regarding Victory Nickel (NI) at their recent AGM.
It will be interesting to see what happens after FNI's June 19th AGM.
