RE: Fantastic news!

RE: Fantastic news!Hola Nosleep!

Compadres I have one question ... It relates to the following quote which has my addled gray-cells confused:

"... Silver Wheaton and Aurcana have also agreed to enter into negotiations on a silver off-take agreement on Shafter in return for Silver Wheaton providing the capital required to re-open the mine.

Ken Booth, President Aurcana Corporation states, "This is an extremely attractive opportunity for Aurcana and its shareholders. The Company has secured all funding necessary to take the high grade Shafter silver mine from acquisition through to production with no further dilution." ..."

These are consecutive paragraphs in the NR.  The underlined portion above seems to say that they will negotiate an off-take for Shafter to finance the re-opening of the that mine.  YET, in the next paragraph Presidente Booth is stating that the funding has been secured to take Shafter through to production.

Seems like they are contradictory statements.

What do you think?

FWIW, I like the deal for the reasons given in many posts today.  Cash in hand for La Negra's AU, when it is dominantly a CU-Zn mine makes a whole bunch of sense.  But I just thought I'd seek clarification from the Board.

Nosleep ... I had a small AUR holding until the Calgary Resource Show.  Sadly I forget the VP I chatted with there BUT the bottom line is that I have been able to gain a sizeable holding in the 50's and I'd like to thin my hands, however aged, are strong!  Aurcana is an outstanding AU comapny imvho!

Buena suerte a todos y mucho saludos!

Dorinho
