Am I right in assuming that  " IF"   the deal closeson June 30th,  the ex-dividend date for the second quarter  will beJune 30 and the existing shareholders will be paid on July 15 ? ( inaddition to 42.75$ )

No I believe not! You can bet the bondholder are trying to get this money.......JMHO
