Too Far
Too FarLeigh, you know I was ok with spanking you gave me on the first post reply but in the second you really did cross the line. In that one you sounded like you had existing employee status - that isn't your role. Thankfully a long time ago you accepted the role as company expert on this board to use watever resources you could to interpret data and spread knowledge to lay people; in that role you eased the workload for Mike by answering questions and calmed both the experienced and rookie retail investors and you've done a great job. As investors we have a responsibility to ask questions and expect results - in this case since the SP results haven't come I've asked more questions ( but I did wait 2 years ). There are a lot of investors that won't ask these questions - you make the assumption that I don't know the answers. Our discussion reaches and affects many more people than you and I and unlike Jeff and Damion I want you to be correct and calm investors so the SP doesn't drop further and contribute to the story telling process ( which has been lacking ). Bad things like Enron and Bre-X happen in the absence of questions and OBJECTIVE data intrepretation and investors know that so whenever the questions stop coming in people question what's going on - to that extent I really liked your dialogue with Jeff but he seems to have left. You only provide value if you remain objective and continue to question the management - the GL guys may be talented and honorable but the industry is not know for attracting those with the noblest of character. I respect the work you've done on this project, the fact you've willingly accepted a very responsible role with no compensation, your outstanding communication skills and that I believe you're honest but don't preach or talk down to me because it will not yeild favorable results. I ask questions so many people can hear the answer not neccessarily so I can hear it.
