Pellets

PelletsThe recent run up in oil and natural gas has created an opening for a little used heating fuel in the USA: pellets. The average stove price is $2,500 and a season's worth of pellets usually runs $350-$400. With India and China growing by leaps and bounds the oil price may continue to run, but pellet prices should flatten or go lower with 80+ plants now online worldwide. Pellets create very little carbon and come from renewable resources: trees.
