I'll try to explain.
lets say you are a stock promoter(not sure if thats the right word - maybe just someone looking to the public for financing for their company) in Vancouver . You have a very large Asian community. Would you want your address to be 44 - 44 ave. or 88 88 ave. you tell me the significance of the numbers (4=bad luck , 8= good luck) (just as an aside note I know of a property that some asian people bought - the address was 44 --------- st. they got the address changed to 88 xxxxxx st. needless to say it was a corner lot that both 44 or 88 work in the address they just had to change from the conventional address to the other street address and the numbers worked) .
So back to the 8's topic.

It just seems that the 8 has a lot of importance , why not issue 14 million shares?
just fun with numbers for some weekend entertainment value - the responses will also be of entertainment value which is the function of these boards unless with the religious pictures posted you may think what you read is gospel. that would be a misconception. DD is the responsibility of all investors, lack of DD by oneself would be like accepting blindly all the risks known and unknown.
P.S. eyesign I hope posts by me from now on will be more moderate, hopefully thought provoking. These board work better if there is input from both sides , if what I post is wrong, please correct the facts. you can ignore my posts that is an option afforded to everyone. Politics and religion don't belong on these boards but that's also my opinion.
