Interesting market close today!

Interesting market close today!

Certainly the market action and close on FNI were interesting today, and Desjardins who were selling @ $0.32 at the Friday close were bidding strongly @ $0.34 at today's close (see closing trades below).

I picked off small positions that became available @ $0.33 through the day (total 15,000 shares), and was just about to scoop up the final 2000 shares left on the table at the close (that's my Bid for 3000 on the Level II's), when suddenly 45,000 shares appeared @ $0.34 Bid (they don't show now on the Level II's - below, but they were certainly there on the Bid).

Hopefully we will see more of the same kind of action tomorrow, and leading up to the AGM and beyond - I believe that the pendulum of market sentiment has finally shifted direction, all the available shares in weak retail hands have been relinquished, and now the institutional players are accumulating to cover off their short positions and buy into the future story, news details of which we will no doubt soon be hearing about.

Victor
