They are unhappy with the share price performance, and feel they can do better.
 - This seems unlikely to me .. since AAB's share price was down to cash for a while there and is still heavily discounted. ..so they cannot get their own stock flying.
 - on the other hand the share price performance of stocks they have under directors control.. have all at least doubled in short periods of time.

They know UWE is less than a year away from having some actual numbers, and want to take control of an up and coming resource.
- I feel AAB are much more profecient at getting new resources up and running ...than the current set of directors.
