RE: AGM ReviewStevecon - Thanks very much for your excellent review of the AGM yesterday, the "colour commentary" greatly enhances the "official" company summary of proceedings.
I am surprised that the Shareholder Rights Plan passed by such a narrow majority. I suspect that certain parties with obviously major holdings (i.e. those driving the share price down to these levels) obviously didn't want this in place
Obviously Premiere Ridge is at a very delicate stage of negotiations, and certainly the current economic climate doesn't help matters (talks of mines closing etc. due to lower metal prices).
From a recent communication from the company on this matter:-
"On Premiere Ridge we did a lot of site clearing last Fall, advanced all the permits, and are continuing discussions with Hydro One etc etc. Everything still hinges on present meetings with XN on the offtake, which I hope will prove positive."
Like yourself, I have added to my own position in the past weeks (averaging down unfortunately) and now hold a 300K position with an ACB now of $0.39
I still believe that that given the strong company fundamentals (with or without PR this year), the only way forward from here is up, and I sincerely believe that we are looking at an easy "double" from the current pps in a relatively short time period.
