I agree with stockdog. Its pretty simple to see that the price has dropped on the news of spinoff.
Maybe not the spinoff alone to be fair but if the market seen it as a good thing it would be going up just on that news not down on last results. ?? only.
Club guy you think they are turning over nickel to other hands? What?  They will still own those assets.
More like splitting assets up into values instead of one value of whole company.
In the end what ever shares you own now you will still have but once they take away part or the nickel properties you will only own the number of shares in the new company they give you. Instead of the whole slice of all assets.  So your stock value will also be split how ever you like to look at the big picture.
You likely think your getting something free here.  Your not.  When you bought shares in the first place you already owned a share in the whole company or 100% of what they had to offer.  After the asset is spunoff what
percentage of each will you own?  Think about it. Again for now i'm not impressed with this idea.  I'll have to wait and see how it all turns out before i make my final choice if its a good thing in this case or not.
