regional magshows an area of high mag on the canadian orebodies/alberta ltd claims. its a 60/40 JV for CO with Verbiski's company. of course the high background mag could be any number of things (ie disseminated magnetite within the mafic volcanics, more ultra-mafic type units, etc). The actual find seems to be within an area of lower magnetics and close to the strike slip fault that displaces the east side of the belt to the north. On the other hand, a more local ground mag survey may show that MTX is on the eastern edge of this strong mag feature and in that case the CO property looks pretty inviting.
MTX will likely want to explore the northern strike potential heading easterly on the newly acquired GZZ ground before if heads off on ground joint ventured out by Temex. If the zone is more northeasterly-southwesterly and parallels the slip fault then the ground to the south (also GZZ) looks promising.
Sooooooooo many unknowns still. Until they start releasing drill log info on geology, dip, strike, etc we are in the dark but this mag map will show us the regional magnetic setting and possibilites.
Hopefully this is the week assays come out! I'm expecting a pretty good market play here.
