SaskatchewanHaving lived in eastern Saskatchewan for many years (yorktown), I can tell you this much for sure. The people living in that part of canada are extremely environmentally conscious. There are many pristine lakes and rivers in central Sask and I sincerely doubt that the people living in Hudson Bay (many native people in the area) want coal mining done in their back yard...better to cross the border into Manitoba. Good luck getting the locals to vote for anything that might destroy their water supply.
One thing i would be interested in finding out is...is any of the land in the area native land or crown land the natives say they have claim to??
