RE: Price of this stock!Investing is a game. You hope to find a stock before the crowd and then ride it up as the stock is "discovered".
If you examine all the published info on PYR.v, it surely looks undervalued. Cashflow at .12 X 4= .48 or 2 times forward annualized cashflow. Very cheap. The increases in production, the announced plans to increase production substantially more thru the drilling package and workovers, the sale of non core assets all point to a higher share price in the future.
Investing is a game of timing. You can be right as rain but if your timing is off, you can end up with poor results. Finding the right stock but not waiting for the market to "discover it", can be especially frustrating. Of course, it's also frustrating when you think you've found something but the market doesn't agree. Because it is a small cap and relatively unknown, PYR.v will have runups after good earnings and then tend to fade as the traders exit and look for the next hot stock. If PYR.v continues to deliver good news the traders will be replaced by investors and the dips between earnings will diminish.
So you have to look at PYR.v and compare it to your alternatives. Can you invest the money elsewhere and make more? Over what timeframe? That is your decision.
I have an overweight in energy and PYR.v is my second biggest position out of 25 energy stocks.
