TVI Pacific Inc. is a Canadian resource company focused on mining projects in the Philippines. The Company holds a 30.66% interest in TVI Resource Development Phils., Inc. (TVIRD). TVIRD's assets include the wholly owned Balabag gold-silver mine and Siana gold mine (Siana). It also has in its portfolio of projects its 100%-owned Mapawa project (gold), a 60% indirect interest in the Mabilo project (a copper-gold-iron skarn deposit that offers potential for multi-metal products, namely copper, gold and silver, with by-products magnetite and pyrite), and a 60% interest in Agata Mining Ventures Inc. (nickel/iron DSO mine). Siana is located in Tubod, Surigao del Norte, approximately 35 kilometers from Surigao City and near to Lake Mainit. The Balabag Gold and Silver Mine, which spans a 4,779-hectare Mineral Production Sharing Agreement. The mine is situated within the municipalities of Bayog in Zamboanga del Sur and Diplahan and Kabasalan in Zamboanga Sibugay, Mindanao, Philippines.

Aprogress report on the Canatuan Sulphide Project has been prepared byRobert C. Armstrong, B.A.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., an independent and leaddirector of TVI, as an update for the Company's board of directors.This document provides an independent review of the constructionactivities taking place at the Canatuan Mine, which is located in theSouthern Philippines and operated by the Company's affiliate TVIResource Development (Phils.), Inc. 

Dr. Armstrong has served as anindependent director of the Company since June 1998.  His skills andleadership include 40 years of experience as a professional in themining industry.  Prior to joining the board, he worked in senior andexecutive positions for several mining companies including Cominco Ltd.and Echo Bay Mines Ltd.  In these positions he had responsibility formineral exploration and mining activities, both foreign and domestic.He currently serves as the President of Armstrong and AssociatesInternational LLC. (Denver, Colorado), a private company involved inthe mineral exploration industry, and as a director of PitchstoneExploration Ltd, a public mining company, the shares of which arelisted on the TSX Venture Exchange.
