GOLDEN TAG INTERSECTS 376.4 OUNCES GOLD PER TON IN LINGO VEIN, AQUILON MAIN PROJECT, JAMES BAY, QUEBEC
Golden Tag Resources Ltd. has provided encouraging results in recent diamond drilling on the Lingo gold occurrence on the Aquilon Main gold property in James Bay, Que. The outcropping, high-grade, gold-bearing vein was tested with a tight grid pattern (approximately 10- by 10-metre centres) of 47 shallow, vertical holes over a strike length of 100 metres and down its shallow dip (30 degrees north-northeast) for 90 metres. Assays returned grades of up to:
- 3,230.89 grams gold per tonne (g/t Au) over 0.8 metre (m) (94.23 ounces gold per ton over 2.62 feet);
- 12,906.5 g/t Au over 0.2 m (376.44 ounces gold per ton over 0.65 foot).
