uhmnot sure wy GOG should get mention on this board..but.ok...not dissapointed in that news mind you. since I own a rather large amount of SOI (their partner). anyways...... the widths are narrow.....so I'm not overly impressed.....
what I do like about the MTX chances are that the widths of copper/zinc mineralization are in excess of 100 METERS..this is no small potatoes..i would think if we get decent grades over HALF that width this stock will go to new highs very rapidly...the obvious area plays are GZZ, TME and MC.
I'm still very uncertain as to which way the zone is oriented. first thought was east-west...now i'm leaning to a more northeasterly-southwesterly strike based on mag data. Either way, if assays prove up I think we will have a barn burner of a play on our hands. this area now has proven diamond, copper/nickel/PGE and now VMS potential. the ultimate end result will be how many of the new discoveries in this area over the next 2 years ($50m or so dollars to be spent in that time) will prove up deposits large enough to warrant a stand alone mine.. certainly NORONT has one..not even a doubt there.
I'm into this play for two reasons:
a) the widths are amazing, and
b) base metal (Cu/Zn) mineralization has been observed in the zone.
I'm long on this one and expect a big return on my investment in MTX, MC and CO. I wouldn't think we would have to wait for assays too much longer. The turn a round on rock samples is 3-4 weeks for grab samples and maybe another 1-2 weeks added to that for large drill core orders.
patience should reward here.
