GM putting lithium batteries into their cars in the next 2 years the price will skyrocket.

Get real....Where have you been..GM won't be building any more cars..until they can re-tool for hi fuel efficient vehicles..

Chemical batteries..lead acid..lithium acid batteries are on their way out..The new battery technology is capicitor based and uses no lithium...
Go do a web search on new battery technology and you will see a Canadian company called ZENN motor car has the rights to this new technology and will be installing in the fall..5-10 minute recharge time(Which is the golden fleece in battery tech.) and 400 km drive on an electric vehicle..
