CanAsia Energy Corp. is a Canada-based junior oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the exploration for, and the acquisition, development and production of, crude oil and natural gas reserves. The Company, through its subsidiary, Andora Energy Corporation, is focused on developing the bitumen resources at the Sawn Lake property using steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) development. RE: Recent selloff?Based on the reading of the share movements as posted, we can conclude that 2 Funds sold (66.66%) while i Fund bought (33%). Likely a transaction between the Fund companies for half of the amount while the other half was through market sources. Others views ?
Given the corporate plan to move into Indonesia, I see better long term prospects in the new South East Asia play especially now that Indonesia has become a net importer of oil, having lost its status as a net oil exporter as a member of OPEC. It must be an embarrassment to the Indonesia government.  The presence of Petro China and Husky in the Indonesian oil play adds credence to POE's move into that area. I would see the longer term of POE as good since management appears to be able to capitalize on new opportunities.
