RE: No we want cashBarrick has 879 million shares outstanding.  Issuing another 40 million to buy out DGC is small potatoes.  I do not want cash as I do not want to pay tax of the profits for the year but rather ride the next leg of the gold bull market with the takeover companies shares.  Look at the charts of CLG/AEM and WTC/GLG/G to see how shareholders benefit by share price rises after the takeover.
